CENTRE DE RECHERCHE ET PROTECTION DES CORVIDÉS


L’association a pour objet la recherche, l’étude et la protection des corvidés en menant notamment des actions visant à :

  • Contribuer à la recherche et à la production de connaissances sur les modes de vie et facultés cognitives des corvidés; 
  • Étudier les représentations des corvidés dans les cultures et les sociétés et leur évolution; 
  • Accueillir et échanger avec des scientifiques travaillant sur le même champ de recherche; 
  • Opérer des actions de sauvetage;
  • Se constituer en centre de soins ayant pour objectif le ré-ensauvagement et la relâche; 
  • Offrir un sanctuaire aux oiseaux non relâchables (imprégnation, handicaps); 
  • Mettre en œuvre après évaluation, des actions concourant à la protection des corvidés in situ et/ou ex situ; 
  • Mener des actions de lobbying et émettre des propositions juridiques visant à assurer la protection des corvidés et l’évolution de leur statut;
  • Agir en justice pour la défense des intérêts qu’elle protège devant toute juridiction, française, européenne ou internationale.

RESEARCH AND PROTECTION CENTER FOR CORVIDS


The goal of the organisation is to research, study and protect Corvids by taking actions that aim to:

  • Contribute to the research and the acquisition of knowledge in to the ways of life and the cognitive abilities of Corvids;
  • Study the Corvids’ social and cultural representation as well as their evolution within our society;
  • Invite and exchange knowledge with international scientists who are working in the same field of study;
  • Carry out rescue operations;
  • Establish a rescue centre in order to rewild and release corvids back into the wild;
  • Offer a sanctuary for disabled or human-imprinted birds, who are unable to be released back into the wild;
  • Implement, after careful evaluation, operations that contribute to the protection of Corvids in situ and/or ex situ;
  • Lobby and issue legal proposals that are designed to ensure the protection of Corvids and the evolution of their status;
  • Take legal actions to defend Corvids in all courts of law in France, Europe and Internationally.
